BAD TV

I watch too much fucking TeeVee... There's some great shows to be sure. I love The Simpsons and now that I've got cable it's on like ten times a day. The Daily Show is guaranteed good times, and MADTV has moments of inspired lunacy. But then it gets perverted. I watched Barnaby Jones for years (it was on at 4:00 am). I HEART Star Trek:Voyager, Walker:Texas Ranger, Pacific Blue, Mr. Belvedere, Neon Rider, The Littlest Hobo, and those TIME/LIFE music era infomercials (especially the Golden Country Collection). I have my favourite girls from 976 Commercials (the one that looks like Posh Spice, if you must know.) Sure, I love Law and Order (although I'm very picky about my cast) but Law and Order:SUV can go suck my balls. Just give Richard Belzer his own godamn show, he's too good to be slumming with Ice-T, who is about as strong as the aforementioned beverage. Blech. Ah man, I'm watching L & O right now, and Lenny just retired. Man, he was the only reason I was still watching that show. I'm fascinated by his dentures. Sigh.

I'm addicted to late Night TV. I'll watch just about anything, except for Dead Man's Gun... where C-List actors go to die. It's a veritable Who's Not Who Anymore. You can be almost certain you'll see Henry Winkler, Ricky Shroeder, Kate Jackson, oh and The Man from Atlantis himself, Patrick Duffy. Ok, I do watch it sometimes. I'm a sick, sick man.

What has the world come too? David Letterman's gone soft, the new Simpson's SUCK, SNL hasn't been funny in years, David Carradine isn't in a single show now that he's Bill, and has been killed. I love that man. He is utterly, utterly mad. Long Wolf Mcquade forever!!!!!

I long for the good old days of latenight Teevee, before the dreaded infomercial. When stations had to put out or go off air. I watched cool old Scifi Movies, Kung Fu, Night Gallery, The Prisoner, Adam 12, Room 222, The Greatest American Hero, Quantum Leap... I mean the list goes on...sure some of it was crap, but now ALL of it is crap, and I have 71 channels!!!!
